Direct Cremation Services

If you want to arrange for a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiber board or composition materials with or without an outside covering. The alternative containers we provide are constructed of heavy-duty cardboard. For those families needing cremation to take place immediately (priority) there will be an additional fee. Containers provided by the purchaser must meet the minimum requirements of the crematory.

Memorial Service

(Remains Not Present)

Includes basic services of funeral director and staff, direction of and (2) two-hour use of facilities and/or equipment for the memorial service in our chapel, transfer from the place of death, transportation to and from the crematory and the cremation fee.

Priority Cremation

Private Family Identification Viewing

**Additional $375

Viewing is with no embalming, for 30 minutes and up to 10 people ONLY Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am to 5pm

Embalming and Viewing Policy

New Mexico Statutes provide that all bodies not disposed of within 24 hours after death must be embalmed, refrigerated, or interred. You may have a funeral service with an unembalmed body present, provided that there are no offensive odors, but under no circumstances will Trujillo Family Funeral Home, Inc. allow public viewing of unembalmed bodies. Only the immediate family will be allowed to briefly view an unembalmed body. Trujillo Family Funeral Home makes no claims, nor representations, nor express any warranties as to the longevity of the embalming process other than that of the duration of the funeral service.
