Yvonne "Bonnie" Keefauver

Yvonne “Bonnie” Keefauver passed away in the comfort of her home on August 13, 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was 76 years old. 

Yvonne was born to Sanford and Barbara on October 30, 1947 in Redding, California. She grew up in California where she found a love for nature and wildlife. 

Yvonne had a zest for life and loved spending her time rehabilitating wild life in her younger years at Shasta Wildlife and Rehabilitation center in California. She loved horses and being outside to watch the birds. Yvonne also had a green thumb and loved to grow anything she could. She loved her plants and even gave them all names. 

Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, and daughter Vicky Knight. She is survived by her three sons, Raymon II (Tracey) Keefauver of Byron Center, Michigan. Derek (Vanessa) Proctor of Albuquerque, New Mexico. David (Ginger) Cooper of Loudon, Tennessee. Yvonne also has many grandchildren, as well as several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. 

Yvonne’s family entrusted Trujillo Family Funeral home for a private family viewing and cremation.
