Yvonne Garcia, aged 54, of Albuquerque, passed away at her residence in the South Valley on or around Monday, July 29th 2024 unexpectedly.
Yvonne was born August 30th, 1969, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to the late Gloria Garcia and Johnny Vallez . She attended Rio Grande High School as well as CNM formerly known as YDI. Growing up in Albuquerque as a young woman, she enjoyed break dancing, roller blading, and admiring her cars by which people know her for today. During adulthood, she dreamed to be a mother and is survived by her two children Brandi Garcia and Brandon Garcia. While raising her children, she still lived out her hobbies which were riding her motorcycle that she inherited from her late step father Johnny Vallez as it was a hobby to him as well as her late brothers Andrew Vallez, watching true crime shows, and spending time with her friends and cousins on occasion.
She was raised in a Catholic Church and in adulthood spread the word of Christianity to her friends and family and devoted her last years to studying the Bible.
As well as her children Brandon and Brandi, Yvonne is survived and loved by her family. Her Brother Jonathan Garcia, and her two sisters Yvette Gurule and Kathy Garcia; Her 3 grandchildren Mackenzie Martinez, Zayla Garcia and Ariani Garcia; her nephews Jerry Padilla, Joseph Padilla, Andrew Villella, Jonathan Garcia, and Jayden Garcia; Her nieces Naomi Deblassie, Hilary Baca and Jazmine Garcia. And many other relatives and friends.
A service will be held to honor Yvonne’s memory on Friday August 16, 2024 from 12:00-2:00 pm at Trujillo’s Family Funeral Home at 110 Alvarado Drive SE Albuquerque, NM 87108, Reception will be held after service at the Post 72 5107 Central Ave NW from 2:00-5:00 PM.
