William David Tessman, born in El Paso, Texas on June of 1958 passed away on January 29, 2024, in Roswell, NM. Bill proudly served in the US Navy on the USS Detroit combat supply ship as an electrician from August 1976 to August 1980, which earned him an Honorable Discharge. Following his military service, Bill found his passion for working on forklifts in Southern California and Tijuana, Mex before transitioning to become a collector of ancient artifacts and antiques. Bill also lived in Alamogordo, NM for many years until settling in Roswell, NM where he spent his final days. Survivors include six siblings, Charles Tessman (Kathy) of San Diego, CA; Mary Tessman (David Heath) of Baltimore, MD; Barbara Tessman of Boston, MA; Joseph Tessman (Carol) of Kansas City, KS; Maureen Santiago (Ralph) of Florida; two children, Jennifer Binder South Dakota, Erik Tessman of CA and many nephews and nieces who lovingly remember their Uncle Bill. Bill will be remembered for his good sense of humor, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family and friends. Bill brought joy and light into all the lives of all who knew him. His compassionate nature and warm spirit will be greatly missed. His memory will forever live on in our hearts. May he rest in Peace.
