William Philip Shisler Jr.

Philip Shisler was born on June 27, 1988 and went home to be with our Lord on January 24, 2024.

Philip is survived by his mother Marlene, her husband Tom, and his father Philip. He leaves behind a loving family including his sisters Melinda and spouse Gilbert, Rochelle and spouse Cameron, Melissa and spouse Jeffery, Mikayla, Chanae, Capri, Alex, Amber, and brothers Josiah and Vince. He was also blessed with 11 nieces, 9 nephews, and his loyal canine companion Dallas. Philip had many other family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Philip was known for his selflessness and was loved by many. He lived life to the fullest and always made a point to share his love with others. Philip's positive outlook on life had the ability to turn a bad day into a good one. His great sense of humor brought laughter to everyone around him. His infectious smile and unforgettable laugh will forever echo in our hearts.

One of Philip's defining qualities was his willingness to help others, even strangers. He took pride in the accomplishments of his nieces and nephews and was cherished as Uncle Philip by all of his friends' children. To his friends, he wasn't just a friend but a brother. Philip formed lifelong bonds with every person he encountered.

Family meant everything to Philip. They were the center of his world. He had a passion for sports, particularly cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. His dog Dallas held a special place in his heart as his best friend and baby.

Philip's presence will be deeply missed by many but his memory will never be forgotten. The legacy he leaves behind is one of love, laughter, kindness, and an unwavering devotion to family and friends. May he rest in eternal peace.

The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at New Beginnings Church, 4770 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM  87109.  Interment to follow at 2:30 pm Mount Calvary Cemetery.
