Vivian Montano Enriquez passed away peacefully on July 21, 2022 following a lengthy illness. She was born on March 22, 1946 to Eulogio & Amelia Montano. Vivian was 1 of 16 children born in Albuquerque and raised in Barelas. Her family descends from the early Spanish settlers in the Atrisco Valley south of Albuquerque, NM and the Atrisco Land Grant of 1692. Throughout her life, Vivian displayed Intelligence, beauty and grace. She worked part-time but mainly chose to be a home maker who loved her family, singing, dancing, cooking, animals and traveling. She had a passion for baking and cooking which was displayed in her delicious food. She was known for her tamales, biscochitos and carrot cake during the holidays. She is survived by her daughter Erica E. Lucero, grandchildren Donnie, Jasmine, great grandchildren Andres, Zarianah, sisters Linda, Shanna, Soledad (inlaw), brothers Jose, Paul, Eddie and Manuel and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eulogio and Amelia, husband Juan Enriquez, Jr., her son John Phillip, grandson Andrew, Sisters Sylvia, Rita (Sixto), Bertha (Stanley), Nancy, Sylvia (inlaw), brothers Ernie, David, Michael, James, Louie, Henry (inlaw).
A Rosary will be held on Thur., August 11, 2002 at 6:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Church located downtown at 619 Copper Ave SW in Albuquerque. Service will be at 9:00 am on Fri., Aug 12, 2022 with burial proceeding at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery located at 2957 Arenal Rd SW.
