Teresita 'Terry' Gonzales

Teresita (Terry) Gonzales passed away peacefully on April 27, 2023 at the age of 92. She was born on February 24, 1931 in Gonzales Ranch, NM to Tomas and Toribia Gonzales. She was a wife, homemaker, and a mother to six children. Terry spent many of her days raising her children, working on beautiful crochet projects, and making homemade chile and tortillas for her family and friends. Terry always made others feel welcomed and loved in her home and made sure that her family and friends received a home cooked meal when they visited her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfredo, her son Celestino, and her daughter Christine and her three brothers; Cristobal, Placido and Evaristo. Terry is survived by her family who loved her deeply; her children Elesio (Lee) and his wife Patricia, Corrine Rivera, Michael and his wife Mabel, and Adam; her grandchildren; Annetra, Melissa, Jason, Theresa, Ciera, Ciena, Anthony, Jasmine, Sheila, and Michael; her great-grandchildren; Connor, Bradley, Gianna, Cruz, Tyson, Taiden, Eliana, and Peyton and other numerous relatives and friends.

A Rosary will be prayed on Friday, June 2, 2023, 9:30AM at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114.  The Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated following the Rosary at 10:15AM.  Private Burial will be scheduled at a later date.
