Steven T. Romero Jr, age 66 a beloved resident of Albuquerque, NM, peacefully passed away on April 27, 2024. Surrounded by his devoted family, Steve's journey to heaven marked the end of a remarkable life filled with dedication and passion.
Steve dedicated over 30 years of his career as a Retired Truck Driver for Pete’s Landscape & Trucking, where his expertise in Diesel Mechanics shone brightly. His love for trucking and automobiles went hand in hand with his deep appreciation for the outdoors and fishing.
He leaves behind a legacy cherished by his Mother Margie T. Romero, four children: Tamara Wood (Chris), Monica Romero, Donna Romero, and David Romero; as well as three adored grandchildren: Eden, Ray Ray, and Alex. Steve will be dearly missed by his siblings - Brother Mike Romero (Susan), Sister Sandra Vigil (Pete), and Brother Troy Romero (Juanita).
In the quiet embrace of heaven, Steve reunites with his Father Steve Romero Sr and son Steven Ray Romero III. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
A service honoring Steve's life will be held on Tuesday, May 7th at 9:30 am at St Therese Catholic Church, 3424 4th St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107. In lieu of other tributes, the family kindly requests flowers to be sent to St Therese Catholic Church. Following the burial ceremony at Mt Calvary, a reception will provide an opportunity for loved ones to share cherished memories.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
