Steven Jeffrey Jones

> Steven "Jeff” Jones of Albuquerque, NM passed away the morning of June 20, 2024 He was born August 7, 1952 in Washington DC to the late John and Kathryn Jones. He received his bachelor's degree and masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1973 and 1976, respectively. He then received his degree of Doctor of Philosophy from the University of California in 1985.>> Jeff retired in 2013, yet his passion for research and writing continued as he worked to publish his findings related to philosophy and education. He was known for having lengthy conversations about philosophy, neuroplasticity and the benefits of music on cognitive development. As a musician, he sought to develop the musical interest of the youth in his community, often gifting instruments to children of all abilities.
