Samuel Gurule

Samuel M. Gurule, born May 1, 1968 to Angelina C. Zamora and Henry L. Gurule went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Samuel was a resident of Albuquerque, NM, and was 55 years old at the time of his passing.

Samuel was a God-fearing man who found great solace in studying the Bible and sharing its wisdom as a minister at United Pentecostal Church. He also had a beautiful voice and used it to sing gospel hymns that touched the hearts of those around him. Praying for others brought him immense joy and brought comfort to many.

Even as a child, Samuel possessed a strong sense of humor and had an uncanny ability to make everyone around him laugh and smile. He was not only talented in art but excelled in it as well. His love for fishing and camping was nurtured from an early age when he would often embark on camping trips with his family.

Above all else, Samuel was a dedicated family man who cherished the moments spent with his wife and children. His grandchildren Matthew, Daniel, Noah, and Michael held a special place in his heart and never failed to bring a smile to his face. Apart from his family, Samuel found great delight in comedy movies and TikTok videos.

Samuel is preceded in death by his loving father Henry L. Gurule, mother Angelina C. Zamora, and nephew Randy L. Gurule. He leaves behind his beloved wife Guadalupe Patricia Gurule, children Esli Corral, Sam Gurule Jr., Abigail Blake, and Guillermo Valles. He is also survived by his siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.

Samuel's presence will be sorely missed, but his memory will forever remain in our hearts. On January 19th at 12:00 pm, there will be a prayer service at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery to honor and remember Samuel Gurule.
