Ruth, the sixth of ten siblings, was a beacon of love and warmth to all who knew her.
Married to Raymond Gonzales, Ruth treasured her family above all else. Her legacy lives on through her three children: Anna Marie Alvarez, Tina Louise Gonzales, and Veronica Lynn Gonzales. She adored her two grandchildren Angela Marie Alvarez and Alissa Alvarez, as well as her four great-grandchildren: Lillian Guzman (12), Dyland Guzman (10), Joel Guzman (8), and Jacob Guzman (5).
Ruth's life was marked by service and compassion. She pursued higher education in Los Banos, CA before dedicating herself to the medical field. As an instructor in McAllen, Texas, she shared her knowledge and skills with countless aspiring healthcare professionals. Ruth's caring spirit extended beyond borders as she provided essential healthcare to the residents of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua Mexico alongside a devoted team of doctors.
Amidst her impactful work, Ruth found joy in simple pleasures. From parasailing to four-wheeling adventures, music to dancing under the stars, and camping escapades in Diablo Canyon, CA - she embraced life with a contagious enthusiasm. Her culinary talents brought families together around the table for cherished gatherings filled with laughter and love.
