Rozella Frances Drumm, also known as Rosie, Zella, Mom, Grandma, or Grannie, was born in Springer, NM on July 16, 1937, to William Hurley and Rosie Mae Caldwell. Rozella spent her early years on a cattle ranch with her grandparents, Ernest and Frances Jespersen. Relational circumstances and World War II had taken her mom to San Diego to join the war effort. After the war, she left northern New Mexico to live in Albuquerque with her mom and her new stepdad, Woodrow Leroy Siler. This small family enjoyed traveling to California and Mexico on many occasions. Rozella grew up to instruct at a modeling agency and beauty school. Later she worked in her mom’s business, Rosie’s Beauty Shop.
Rozella had three children. She was preceded in death by Ricky Lee. Woody and Carm survive her. From those three children, she was blessed with six grandchildren: Britney, Deminica, Jeffery, Rylee, Amani, and Tiona. She also had six great-grandchildren: Ethan, Emi, Eshton, Sif, Siler, and Elam. Rozella was vivacious and tenacious throughout her life. She loved to delight herself in Jesus and spent countless hours studying the Bible and praying on behalf of her family, friends, and anyone or anything else that presented with needs.
