Rodney Anthony Moya

Rodney Anthony Moya, age 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 6, 2023.

Rodney was born on September 22, 1960, in Albuquerque, NM. Son of Ernest and Dora Moya. Rodney
served in the Navy in 1978 and became a jack of all trades. Rodney was an electrician, plumber, and
musician. Rodney had a love for music and was a self-taught guitarist. He enjoyed restoring furniture,
coin collecting with his brother Santiago, fishing, spending time with his partner in crime; his mom, and
most of all, enjoying the company of his dogs Panda, Myla, and his birds.

Rodney is preceded in death by his Father, Ernest Sr., love of his life, Debra Gutierrez, Sister’s Amelia Moya,
Antoinette Atler, and brother, Lawrence Moya. Rodney is survived by his mother, Dora Moya, Uncle
Higinio Garcia; sister, Rosita Herrera; husband, Rick; brothers Ernest Jr Moya; wife Diane, Santiago
Moya; wife Bernadette, Franko Moya; wife Kathleen, Raymond Moya; wife Jacqueline, brother-in-law
Michael Atler and sister-in-law Luanna Moya.

A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 14, at Holy Family Catholic Church at 562
Atrisco Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. With visitation at 8 a.m. Rosary at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to
follow at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be at San Jose De Armijo Cemetery 2957 Arenal Rd SW, Albuquerque,
NM 87121.

Pallbearers will be Ernest Moya Jr, Santiago Moya, Raymond Moya, Steven Montoya, Dominic Lopez and
Andrew Moya. Honorary pallbearers will be Erica Atler and Samantha Moya.
