ROBERT WARREN TELLIER

(December 16th, 1977 – December 31st, 2024)

Robert W. Tellier was born to Richard Tellier and Kathy Campbell on December 16th , 1977, at Ireland Army Hospital in Ft. Knox, Kentucky. Robert spent much of his early life as an Army Brat, where he lived in Ft. Knox, Kentucky; Bindlach, Germany; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Waterbury, Vermont. His youth as an army brat was pivotal with his development and shaped him into the man he needed to be, making the best out of every situation. Robert and the family eventually moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, making it their home city.

While living in Albuquerque, Robert found his life's calling and passion, cooking and working within the restaurant business. Robert started his career at the American restaurant chain, T.G.I Friday’s, starting as a busboy. He eventually climbed his way up within the company, becoming a cook, and later the restaurant manager. During his time at T.G.I Friday’s he met Julie, his future wife and mother to his children, during an out of state training for his restaurant manager position. The two eventually started a family, giving birth to his daughter, Madison Tellier. Later, the family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for greater career opportunities within the restaurant business.

During his time in Las Vegas, he found work at The Flamingo Buffet, becoming the restaurant manager. During the family's time in Las Vegas, they expanded the family with Robert’s son, Hayden Tellier. The family grew and bonded deeply, but eventually tragedy struck. At the age of 33, Robert was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and would battle the disease for the rest of his life. Robert ended up moving back to Albuquerque for further care while battling the disease, moving in with his mother, Kathy.

His battle with Multiple Sclerosis was rigorous, as the disease stripped him physically of everything but his great intelligence that kept him quick witted to the very end. Through his life as a youth and the lessons he learned, his infamous “Living the Dream” saying came to light. Robert always saw good in every situation, especially during his battle. Robert could always be seen smiling through it all and always had his “Living the Dream” wristband on as a reminder to

everyone he encountered. His final act of strength that defined his character, was his donation of his brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves to Rocky Mountain MS research clinic to help with Multiple Sclerosis research to discover treatments for the disease.

As Robert joins our heavenly father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents Virginia and Warren Campbell, Robert and Louis Tellier, as well as his niece Brooke Tellier-Grandberry. Robert impacted countless lives and will forever live on through his mother and father Kathy Campbell and Richard Tellier, his sister Victoria Tellier, his children Madison and Hayden Tellier, his niece Denaya Grandberry, and finally his three nephews Jeffrey Moretti, Charles Grandberry, and Andrew Grandberry.

In memory of Robert Warren Tellier in lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Rocky Mountain MS foundation, as we all seek to find a cure and treatment against this horrible disease.
