Robert Charles Brown

Robert Charles Brown was born on November 8, 1951, to Alvin and Louise Brown in Houston, Texas. He was the second of seven children and was affectionately known to family and friends as "RC." On January 19, 2025, RC received his perfect healing and went home to be with the Lord.

RC lived a full and meaningful life. He proudly served almost 21 years in the United States Army and dedicated another 20 years to the New Mexico State Police. A man of unwavering faith, RC never hesitated to share who kept and covered him every day—he always put God first in his life.

He was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. RC is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Louise Brown; his sisters, Debra and Sheryl Brown; his brother, Ronald Brown; his daughter, LaRonica Brown-Weaver; and his grandson, Patrick Weaver Jr.

RC leaves to cherish his memory his son, Maceo (Monique) Brown; his daughter, LaToya (JD) Brown-Barnett; his grandchildren, Jasmine, LaRissa, Isaiah, Jada, Lauren, Devin, Aaron, and Xavier; and his great-grandchildren, Layla, Aaliyah, Londyn, Aubrey, and Landon. He is also survived by his sister, Brenda Kelly; his brothers, Donald (Rita) Brown and Anthony (Stephanie) Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. RC was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
