Richard Izaac Sanchez

Richard Izaac Sanchez, 38, beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, was called to Heaven on November 6, 2023. He was born on January 29, 1985 in Las Cruces, NM to Richard R. Sanchez and Lorraine R. Garcia.

Richard is survived by his father Richard R. Sanchez, mother Lorraine R. Garcia, his loving children Alejandro Richard Sanchez (18), Richard Izaac Sanchez Jr. (15), and Nathaniel Richard Sanchez (9), as well as his siblings Chasity Sanchez, Orlando Garcia, Carlos Sanchez, Kenneth Sanchez, and Vincent Sanchez. He will also be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews Manuel Reyes Jr., Aaliyah Garcia, Carlos Sanchez Jr., Khloe Garcia, and Orlando Garcia.

Richard is preceded in death by his grandparents Robert Garcia, Louis Sanchez, Joe Hernandez, and Nancy Garcia.

A born and raised proud South Valley Native of Bernalillo County with a larger than life personality, Richard had a big smile and a warm heart that touched everyone around him. He was passionate about art and tattooing and had an incredible talent in these areas. His charm and wit made him an instant favorite among friends and family.

Richard always looked up to our father and brother Carlos; he was proud to have learned everything from them. One of his greatest dreams was to spend quality time fishing with all three of his beloved sons. He cherished the thought of creating lasting memories together.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, 5:15PM at La Plazita Institute, 831 Isleta Blvd, Albuquerque, NM 87105.
