Raymond Gilbert Ulibarri passed unexpectedly on Sunday December 10th, 2023 in Albuquerque, NM. Our hearts are heavy as we bid farewell to a beloved soul who touched the lives of many.

Ray, as he was affectionately known, leaves behind an enduring legacy of love and compassion. His children, Ray Ulibarri and his wife Miranda, Yvette Ulibarri and her husband Mark, and Christina Ulibarri and her husband James held a special place in his heart. Ray's unbreakable bond with his grandchildren - Alicia, Christopher, Elijah, Aubriella, and Zoey - filled his life with immeasurable joy. His brother Tommy and sisters Sandra and Lisa will always cherish the memories they shared together. Ray's warm presence also extended to numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who were blessed to have him in their lives.

In the journey of life, Ray faced the heart-wrenching experience of bidding farewell to loved ones who preceded him in death. He now joins his beloved wife of 46 years, Debbie Ulibarri, in eternal peace. Alongside Debbie await his mother Ramona Yanez and stepfather Thomas Yanez, as well as his late brother Robert and sister Maxine. Though parted by time and space, their spirits find solace in reunion.

Ray's story began on December 12th, 1953 when he was welcomed into the world by proud mother Ramona Ulibarri in Brighton Colorado. As he grew older, Ray proved himself to be a pillar of strength within his family and community.

Known for his generous spirit and unwavering kindness, Ray was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and coach. He possessed a heart of gold that overflowed with love for those around him. Ray's willingness to go above and beyond for others knew no bounds, leaving an indelible mark on the lives he touched.

Today, we gather to celebrate Ray's life and the lasting impact he made. As we reflect on the memories shared, let us remember his infectious laughter and genuine smile. Ray's warm embrace and unwavering support will forever remain etched in our hearts.
