We are deeply saddened announce the passing of Randy Julian Castillo, a beloved resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico. On December 5, 2023, at the age of 69, Randy was called home to be with our Lord and Savior.
Randy was born to Sixto and Delfinia Castillo and grew up in Bernalillo, NM, surrounded by his loving family, including his sisters Beverly, Martha, and Mary, and his brothers Eddie (Helen) and Rudy (Frieda). He was cherished by many close cousins and friends, forming a strong support network throughout his life.
As a loving husband, Randy adored his wife Dora Castillo. His devotion extended to being a nurturing father to his children Debra Wall, Melissa Castillo, Randy Castillo (Renee), Kassandra Castillo, Alysha Castillo, and Aralece Castillo. His greatest joy came from being a grandparent to Gabby Wall, Reggie Wall, Tatianna Wall, Jordan Castillo, P.J. Montoya, Luke Omanson, Randy Castillo Jr., Kylei Castillo, Julian Castillo, Arianna Castillo, Angelo Bermudez, and Zechariah. Additionally, he had three wonderful great-grandchildren named Sebastian, Cameron, and Stella.
Randy held a special place in the hearts of all his nieces and nephews. With an infectious smile and charming dimples that lit up every room he entered, he had an undeniable swag that caught everyone's attention. Known for his impeccable style and a fantastic sense of humor that brought laughter to all who knew him - himself included - Randy will be profoundly missed by countless friends and family members.
A rosary service followed by a Mass celebrating Randy's life will be held on Friday December 29th at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Pallbearers will include Reggie Wall, Angelo Bermudez, Julian Castillo, Silas Cole, and P.J. Montoya, with Randy Castillo serving as an honorary pallbearer.
Randy leaves behind a legacy that will live on eternally in the hearts of those he held dear. May his soul find eternal peace.
