It is with the deepest sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, Percilla Ramirez. Percilla went peacefully in her sleep to be with our Lord on April 20, 2024 in the loving home of her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Pita Ramirez in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Percilla was born on August 6, 1941 in Cuba, New Mexico where she resided until death. She died at age of 82 and was preceded in death by her husband Adonias Ramirez, her parents Eugenio and Mary Vigil, sister Gloria Freelove and nephew Robert Casaus. Percilla has left behind her two sons, Edwin and Mark; daughter-in-law, Pita; granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Makayla; great granddaughter Skarlet and great grandson, Kane; two sisters, Betty Sandoval, Ida Vigil-Otis and brother-in-law Jeff Otis; and brother Rusty Vigil and sister-in-law Linda Vigil; countless nieces and nephews and many friends. Percilla will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of being a loving, humble, giving person with an especially wonderful sense of humor. Throughout her life, Percilla was a very positive person, whose glass was always half full, never half empty, no matter what the circumstance; she always saw the sun shining through the clouds. Percilla loved and dedicated her life to God and her family. The day she left this world behind, the Lord received Percilla into his loving arms and the angels sang as her beautiful soul was welcomed into God’s heavenly kingdom.
May she rest in peace and may her memory continue to bring peace and solace to those who mourn her passing.
