Paul Marquez

Paul Marquez, aged 69, of Albuquerque NM, passed away at his home on Monday, May 2nd 2022. He would be joined in heaven by his beloved wife Martha Marquez, his great grandson Amias Lopez-Perez, his mother Rosaline Maez and his brother's Larry Marquez and Bennie Romero.

He is survived by his children Paul Marquez Jr., Josephine Marquez, her fiance Tommy Coffelt, daughter and caregiver Callie Marquez and his best friend who was like a son Johnny Martinez. His grandchildren Chlorissa Lopez-Perez, her husband Sergio Lopez-Perez, Jude Lopez and Arianna Hernandez. Great grandchildren Nevaeh Ulibarri, Estrella Ulibarri and Adonis Lopez-Perez. He is survived by his sister's Gloria Salazar, Arlene Maez, Diane Maez and in-laws RosieAnn Vigil, Jennie Baca and Donald Baca. As well as countless nephew's, nieces, uncle's, aunties, family and friends.

He worked numerous jobs and at one point worked three to provide for his family. His most accomplished job was working at YDI as a youth counselor where he became known and respected as the role model that he was in life, he also owned and ran his own wrought iron business called Marquez Wrought Iron. He loved to travel and sightsee with his family and friends, he was a big time joker and loved to have a good time. He was loved and will be missed very much.

His services will be as followed:

Wednesday May 25, 2022 

at St. Ann's Catholic Church located at 1400 Arenal Rd. SW 87105 

Rosary at 8:15 (doors open at 7:45)

Mass to follow at 9:00 

Burial at Mount Calvary located at 1900 Edith Blvd. NE 87102 

Reception will be held at the VFW located at 2631 Bridge Blvd. SW 87105 at 12:00 pm.

Honorary Pallbearers: Manuel Nieto, Tony Nieto, Art Sanchez, David Mundine, Melissa Mundine and Carlos Salazar Jr.
