Pamela Elizabeth Madrid, affectionately known as Pammy, passed away on January 16, 2025, at
the age of 67. Born on April 12, 1957, in Albuquerque, NM, she spent her final years in
Bernalillo, NM, surrounded by her loving family.
Pamela was a passionate woman with a zest for life. She enjoyed sewing, beading jewelry, and
woodwork, expressing her creativity through her hands. An avid shopper, she loved to indulge in
everything from food to fashion. Her favorite meals were anything and everything, and her
musical tastes gravitated toward New Mexico Spanish music and oldies, providing the
soundtrack to her vibrant life.
Pamela found her greatest joy in her daughters, Jennifer and Alysse, as well as her
granddaughters, Sea'Erra and Haleigh. She had a special bond with her great-great nephews
Jason and Tobias, who filled her heart with love and laughter. Pamela was a constant source of
support for her younger daughter, serving as a best friend and confidante throughout her life.
Her beloved pets, especially her fur babies Grizz and Lilo, brought her immense comfort and
companionship. Pamela had a deep appreciation for the beauty of the mountains, which she
considered her favorite place in the world. She enjoyed watching classic TV shows like "I Dream
of Jeannie" and "I Love Lucy," which reflected her fun-loving spirit.
Described as hot-headed, independent, strong, and loving, Pamela touched the lives of many
with her unwavering support and fierce loyalty. She will be deeply missed by her family and
friends, who cherish the memories of a remarkable woman whose legacy of love will endure.
Pamela is survived by her loving family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was
preceded in death by both her parents Alejandro and Lizzie Madrid, her two brothers, Ernie and
Gilbert, and sister, Sandra. Her legacy of love, creativity, and devotion to family will forever be
remembered.
A Catholic Rosery and Mass will be held on February 7, 2025 starting at 10:30 am, at Church of
the Incarnation Catholic Church in Rio Rancho, NM.
