In Loving Memory of Oscar Adrian Chavira

Oscar Adrian Chavira, born on June 29, 1980, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by the love of his family. Oscar was the beloved son of Maria G. Talamantes and Jose F. Chavira, and one of six children. His life was richly shared with his wife and children — his wife Letisha Garcia, and his two children Alexandria Chavira, and Xavier Chavira. His mother, Maria Talamantes and his siblings — his older sister, Liliana Chavira, and his younger siblings, Bianca Chavira, Yadira Talamantes, Aracely Ramos, and Omar Talamantes.

Oscar was a loving son, brother, uncle, and a devoted husband and father. Oscar’s children were the light of his life.

Oscar will always be remembered as a loving, hard-working, football-loving, and kind man. Though his strong and tough appearance often preceded him, those who knew him best knew he was truly a big softy at heart. Oscar loved with his whole heart and gave freely of his affection to those he cared about.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Estela and Fermin Chavira, and Maria Isabel Paniagua and Magdaleno Talamantes, as well as his beloved older sister, Liliana Chavira.

Oscar’s smile lit up any room. His presence, his laughter, and his unconditional love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. We will miss you dearly, Oscar.
