Nativdad-Ricardo/Ricky Romero
Born September 8, 1965 to November 9, 2023.
Rick was a beloved father, son, brother, and uncle. He was called home on November 9, 2023 to join his father Carlos and brother Joseph Romero in eternal peace. Rick is survived by his loving mother Lydia Romero, his four children: Tanya, Rachel, Samantha, and Cynthia, as well as his siblings Esther, Frances, and Anthony. Additionally, he leaves behind 12 cherished grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
His departure weighs heavily on the hearts of all who knew him. His infectious smile, contagious laughter, and humorous anecdotes will forever linger in our memories. Yet perhaps what we will miss the most are the warm embraces that Rick so generously gave. Ever selfless and dependable, he never hesitated to come to the aid of those in need. He possessed an unwavering commitment to others; his unconditional support required neither explanation nor justification. Indeed, Rick would readily give his own shirt if someone required it.
His absence will be deeply felt by all whose lives he touched.
We invite you to attend the viewing ceremony to bid farewell to Rick on November 17 from 4pm to 5pm at Trujillo Family Funeral Home. Furthermore, a memorial service will be held on December 2nd at 12pm at Churches of Experience on Quincy and Central.
In honoring his memory and celebrating a life well-lived, let us share stories of love and laughter as we bid our final farewells to Nativdad-Ricardo/Ricky Romero.
