Our beloved mother and grandmother, Nancy Gonzales, was taken by the Lord to eternal peace
on November 12 th , 2024.
Nancy was born in San Jose, New Mexico and was a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She is survived by her daughters Lucille Hinojos husband Paul and Ruth Gonzales.
Grandchildren John Lucero wife Raelynn, Natalie Romero, Frank Romero, great-grandchildren
John Lucero, Gabriela Lucero, Marcos Candelaria, Breonna Candelaria and partner Jeremy,
Elijah Alfaro, Joseph Romero, Josiah Salgado, Xavier Olgades, Josiah Romero.
Brother Paul Duran, sisters Gertrude Tafoya, Viola Jaramillo, Anna Hernandez and husband
Pepe, sister-in-law Joanne Duran, brother-in-law Michael Gallegos.
She was proceeded in death by husband John Louie Gonzales, parents Martin and Valentina
Duran, sister Tina Gallegos, brothers Martin Jr and Lucio Duran, brother-in-law Nick Jaramillo.
Nancy enjoyed helping people and was a great advocate for the South Valley needy. She
retired from Bernalillo County Multi-Purpose Center and volunteered at St Vincent de Paul and
the Community Food Bank.
A mass will be held at Holy Family Church (562 Atrisco SW) on Friday December 13, at 8:15
a.m.
Followed by the burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends, are invited to join us for a
reception following the burial at the South Valley Multi-Purpose center 2008 Larrazolo Road SW.
