Millie Cordova

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Millie J. Cordova, who left this world peacefully at the age of 85 on March 24, 2025.

Millie was born in Socorro, NM on November 20, 1939. Throughout her life she lived in several places including El Monte, CA, Albuquerque, NM, Phoenix, AZ, and Rio Rancho, NM. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Adelico Cordova, and together they raised five children. She was a devoted mother and her compassion, kindness, and unwavering strength touched everyone who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Her presence will be missed dearly; but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Adelico Cordova, her parents, Tranquilino and Dominica Zamora, and her siblings: Danny Zamora, Frank Zamora, Dennis Zamora, Nestor Zamora, Margaret Lopez, and Francis McEachern.

She is survived by her children Diana and Dewey Chavez, Eddie and Tina Cordova, Irene and David Lucero, Wayne and Theresa Cordova, and Janice and John Bazan, as well as their families consisting of nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of Millie's life will be held on April 26, 2025 at the Church of the Incarnation (located at 2309 Monterrey Rd NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144), where we will gather in prayer to honor her memory.

A visitation will be held with the family at 9:00 am.

The Rosary will begin at 10:00 am, followed by Mass at 10:30 am.

A reception will be held following the Mass at the church hall.
