Michele E. McCain

Michele E. McCain, age 73 of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Monday December 5th, 2022.

Michele was born April 5th, 1949, in Stockton, California to the late Earl Chamness and Grace Ulrich. She then grew up in Nebraska and eventually moved to Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael Chamness, and three sisters Claire Chamness, Annette Stith and Melanie Eads.

Michele worked for years as a Drug Alcohol Counselor. She was very involved with the Church and played the organ for services. Later in life she helped care for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Michele was a strong, loving and supportive Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Michele is survived by her children Deborah Jones, Michael Blaha, and Ryan Blaha; her grandchildren Michelle (Jaymz) Lebron, Avery Jones, Christian Jones, Joshua (Samantha) Blaha, Gabriel Blaha, Zachary Blaha, and Christopher Blaha; and great-grandchildren Atticus and Tristan Lebron.

Michele loved all. She was a die-hard Nebraska Cornhuskers fan. She was a photographer and loved to paint watercolors of nature. She enjoyed playing games and laughing with all her friends and family. She enjoyed music and dancing. She was always happy and excited to be with her family. She was a bright star in a dark room and will be missed by her many friends and family.
