Michael Anthony Trujillo 69, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, went to be with our Lord and Savior on March 16, 2024. Michael passed peacefully at his home in Duranes. Michael was born on December 17, 1954 to Florian (Pat) and Trini Trujillo who proceded in death. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Norma (Mona) Trujillo; two children, Vincent and Andrea Trujillo; three grandchildren, Christopher Trujillo, Alyssa Martinez (Angelo Herrera ), and Joshua Trujillo who preceded in death. Michael is survived by his brothers Larry Trujillo ( Marie), David Trujillo (Jane), and sister Sandra Trujillo (David Gallegos). Also, brother-in-law’s Juan Vargas( Connie), Raul Vargas Jr (Debbie), Esteban Barney Vargas, and sister-in-law Alma Santiago (Domingo). Proceded in death, Mother and father-in-law Raul and Alejandrina Vargas. Sister-in -law Eileen Garcia. As well as nieces and nephews who loved him.
Michael graduated from Albuquerque high in 1972. After graduation he began his career at Galles Chevrolet for 37 years. Micheal loved working with people. After retiring he continued working for John and Nancy Koslowski and Minerva Co. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and camping. Michael’s legacy was dedication to his family and unwavering faith in Our Lord Jesus. Michael touched many lives by his kindness, thoughtfulness, sense of humor, and storytelling ability. We celebrate Michael’s life that was filled with love and joy, knowing someday we will be reunited with him. He will never be forgotten..
Michael’s life celebration will be on April 2, 2024 at 10:00am San Felipe de Neri Church in Old Town 2005 N Plaza Street NW 87104. Michael will be laid to rest following the mass at Mount Calvary cemetery at 1900 Edith Blvd NE 87102. The reception will be held immediately following interment at San Jose Los Duranes Mission parish hall 2110 Los Luceros Rd NW
