In Loving Memory of Michael Angelo Sanchez
Michael Angelo Sanchez, age 56, was born on 5/13/68 in Santa Fe, NM, and went to be with the Lord on 3/13/25. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering strength. He was a man who carried both a gentle heart and a strong presence, always standing as a protector to those he loved. Serving in his own security business, his towering stature was matched only by his sense of duty.
From an early age, he had the gift of kindness and finding humor in every situation. Even in life’s challenges, he reminded us all not to take things too seriously—always quick with encouragement and a laugh. He loved Jesus and didn’t hesitate to share words of wisdom or encouragement from God’s Word.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Serenity and Meidaja; his devoted partner, Evelyn; his siblings, Mary, Kathy, Rose, Barbara, Johnny, Michele, Hilario, Irma and Linda, and a host of extended family. He is reunited in heaven with his mom and dad, Robert and Polly Sanchez, siblings; Dorothy, Wally, Jaine, Robert, Delia, and nephews Robbie, Jeremy, and niece Alexis, who no doubt welcomed him with open arms.
While we grieve his passing, we take comfort in knowing he rests in the arms of the Lord, free from pain, and we hold fast to the hope in Christ’s resurrection power that we will be reunited again in glory.
“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.” — 1 Peter 5:10
