Matthew Eugene Anaya

Matthew Eugene Anaya, 31, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Matthew was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on March 24, 1994. As a child, Matthew participated in a variety of sports, such as baseball, wrestling, basketball, and soccer. As an adult, Matthew became an avid computer enthusiast and was fascinated with computers and software programs. Matthew also loved to shop online for sales on computers, cell phones, and other electronics. Matthew loved to watch anime movies, wrestling, politics, and different genres of movies. He also liked to collect anime cards and new style cell phones and laptops. Matthew was a kind man who had a tender heart who cared about others before himself, and had an immense love for everyone in his life.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Michelle Diane Contreras and his beloved brother Teddy R. Anaya, Jr.; his half-sister Monique Harris; his paternal grandmother Inez Reyes; and an abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family members. Matthew was preceded in death by his father Teddy R. Anaya, Sr.
