Mary Lou Montano

Mary Lou Montaño, aged 86, a long-time resident of Canjilon, NM, passed away peacefully, In the presence of her family in Albuquerque. Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Gusman Montaño. She is survived by her children: George and Nelda Montaño, Leonard Montaño, Teresa Montaño, Loretta Sullivan-Trujillo and Eric Gold, Louis and Kim Montaño, Stephanie and Geno Conahan, and Consuelo and Brian Morales. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Della (Frank) Ocaña of Albuquerque, and Cheryl Garcia of Gowen Michigan, as well as her numerous relatives and friends.

She was blessed with fifteen grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren. A wife, mother, grandmother, and beloved friend, Mary Lou will surely be missed by all those privileged to have known her. Rosary will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 6:30 pm at Trujillo’s Family Funeral Home Chapel  Mary Lou will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery following a service at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on July 12th, 2024, beginning at 10:00 am with interment to follow at 11:30 am at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
