Mary Lou Flora Montano

Mary Lou “Flora” Montano passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 80. She is preceded in death by her father, Hermelindo Montano and mother, Felipita Montano; sisters, Antonia Gonzales and Polly Montano; brothers Ramon, Robert and Steve Montano; and grandson, Michael Duran, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Lou Duran and son, Alfred (Maura) Torres; grandchildren, Nikkie (Brendan) Hill, Sarah (William) Hoza, Andrew Torres, and Emily Torres; great-grandchildren Blake, Hunter and Lydia; brothers, Ned (Isabel) Montano and Joe Montano (Mary) and sister, Judy Padilla as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held at The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church on March 11th, 2025 with the Rosary at 8:00 a.m., Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m. Reception to follow 10:00 am to Noon at the church’s reception hall at 9502 4th Street NW, Alb., NM 87114.
