Mary J. Gutierrez

Mary J. Gutierrez, born on January 5, 1934, in Las Nutias, NM, left this earthly realm to join our heavenly father on November 9, 2023.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. She is survived by her son Donald and his wife Dorothy, who have been blessed to have her as their guiding light. Mary's love extended to her seven grandchildren: Patricia, Rudy Eddie, Eloisa, Iris, Amaris, Jenae, and Thomas. She was also the adored great-grandmother of four precious souls.

Today, we gather not only to mourn Mary's passing but also to celebrate the beautiful reunion that has taken place. Mary is now embraced once again in the arms of her beloved husband Rudy. In heaven's embrace as well stand her sons Clarence, Frank, Hank, and Tommy; her daughter Patsy; and her sister Emily Jaramillo.

Mary's profound faith illuminated every aspect of her life. Her devotion to St. Anne's Catholic Church was unwavering. In honor of her memory, a Rosary will be held at 8:15 am followed by Mass at 9:00 am on December 13, 2023, at St. Anne's Catholic Church located at 1400 Arenal SW.

As we bid farewell to Mary J. Gutierrez with heavy hearts but grateful spirits for having shared in her remarkable journey on this earth. May she find eternal peace and may we carry forward the light of her love in our own lives.
