Mario E. Flores, (‘Kike’) 45, was born on April 4th, 1977, in Los Angeles, California to Jorge & Cruz Flores. He passed away on January 24th, 2023, with his loving family by his side. Mario was a very hard worker and started supporting his family at the young age of 16. He loved his family dearly and was very proud of his children. He cherished his 3 grandsons’; they were his favorite lil’ buddies. Mario or Kike as most family & friends called him will be greatly missed. He was always there to lend a helping hand. Mario is survived by his loving wife Christina of 25 years, his children Mario Flores Jr., and wife Alexandria, his daughter Marissa Flores, and his son Marcos Flores and girlfriend Juliana. His adored grandsons Jax, Zayden, and Axel Flores; his parents Jorge & Cruz Flores, and his siblings George Flores (Laura), Gabriel Flores (Deborah), Cesar Flores, Jazmin Flores, & Wendy Flores (Adrian). He is also survived by his Father & Mother-in-Law Liberato & Ida Segura, brothers, and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends. Mario loved coaching his children in basketball, baseball, and softball so he is also survived by all the players he coached & fellow coaches, along with his coworkers he had over the years.
Pallbearers: Mario Flores Jr. (grandsons, Jax, Zayden & Axel Flores), Marcos Flores, brothers George, Gabriel & Cesar Flores, and nephew Rico Santillanes.
Honorary Pallbearers: Nephews Daniel & Jonathan Flores and Jordan Aguilar, Josh Griego, Sergio Chavez, and Mike Saiz.
Services will be held at:
Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1860 Griegos Rd NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87107.
10:30 AM- Rosary
11:00 AM- Funeral Mass
1:00 PM- Followed by burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87102
