Mariasol Alegria Gutierrez Roberts

Mariasol Alegria Gutierrez Roberts Maríasol Gutiérrez Roberts passed away on August 19, 2024, at the age of 46 from breast cancer. Maríasol was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on July 2,1978 to Marie Gutiérrez Gore and Stephen Myers.

Maríasol is survived by her husband, Nathaniel and children Onalise, Angela, Isabel and Eva. She is also survived by her parents Marie, Maire and Stephen as well as brother, Adán.

She was an amazing wife and mother who put everyone before herself. She had a contagious laugh, and always helped her family with homework or editing papers. She dedicated a decade to homeschooling the kids, and as they grew older, she became a devoted trail runner. She was stubborn, almost to a fault, fighting cancer to the bitter end for her daughters.

Thank you to her east mountain moms whose friendship lasted a lifetime. Thank you to Chrissy Martin who pushed and supported her physical transformation. A special thank you to the staff at Women’s Cancer and Surgical Care as well as UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center, whose dedication and compassion extended the years we had together after her terminal diagnosis.

We love her so, so very much and miss her every day. We hope she is resting in peace. We, and will forever remember and love her for the amazing person she was. The family invites you to a celebration of life party at 2pm on August 31, 2024 at our family home. Religious services will be held at 9am on September 1,2024 at the Albuquerque Zen Center.
