Maria Socorro Esquibel Chavez

Maria Socorro Esquibel Chavez, aged 95, of Albuquerque NM, passed away at Rust Medical Center on Tuesday May 17th, 2022, of natural causes.

She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico - the daughter of Francisco and Luisa Chavez. She moved to New Mexico with her daughter Martha, and later met the love of her life, Ezequiel (Zek) Esquibel whom she married in November of 1975.

Maria Esquibel is survived by her only daughter Martha Velasquez and husband Daniel; Grandchildren, Shawn Duffy and wife Cassandra, Amber Velasquez and companion DJ; Great grandchildren, Liam Duffy; Cousins, Guadalupe Foss, Marilena Pino and husband Erlindo; Great Nephew, Christopher Foss and wife Heather. Neice, Karina Chavez.

The prayer services for those who would like to say their last goodbye will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church on 820 Broadway Blvd SE Albuquerque, NM 87102 at 8:00 AM on Friday, June 10th 2022.
