Luis Eddie Arvizu Jr. was born on July 30, 1957, in Winslow, AZ to Luis Arvizu Sr. and Erlinda Juarez Arvizu. At the age of four, his family relocated to San Fernando Valley, California, where Luis received his K-12 education. After graduating from high school in 1975, he embarked on a successful career in construction. Subsequently, Luis moved to Arizona, obtained his General Contractors License, and continued to excel in the field.
Later in life, Luis relocated to Socorro, New Mexico where he established his general contracting business. During his time in Socorro, he selflessly served as his mother's caregiver until her passing in 2019, a loss that deeply impacted him.
Luis is survived by his loving siblings: Mary Lou Marquez and Epifanio Arvizu, along with five nephews and two nieces. His dedication to family and work will always be remembered.
A funeral service honoring the life of Luis will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro, NM. The visitation will commence at 9:00 am followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Funeral Mass. Interment will take at the San Pedro Cemetery immediately following the Funeral Mass.
A reception/lunch will follow after the burial at the church hall.
