Lillian Lucille Saavedra, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, is now resting in the Lord's and beloved family's company. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lillian loved creating art, watching funny videos, advocating for the voiceless, and being with her family. All of her family and friends deeply loved Lillian.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Nadine Saavedra, grandson, Jude Jaramillo, parents, Lucy & Salomon Martinez, brother, Henry Martinez, sisters, Eleanor Griego & Yolanda Alderete. Lillian is survived by her sons, Richard (Shawna) and Gabriel Saavedra, grandchildren, Candace (Chris) Rios and Nathan Barela, great-grandchildren, Ariela, Gianna & Bentley, as well as her sisters, Lorraine Gomez & Julie Martinez, sister-in-law, Louise Martinez, and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, her best friend, and dog, Lola. 

Working at Mountain Bell was a significant part of her life; some of her fondest memories were made with her colleagues at the phone company. Everyone loved Lillian's infectious smile and loving demeanor. Lillian leaves a legacy of unconditional love and optimism.  

Services for Lillian will be held on August 26th, 2022. Rosary will begin at 9:30 AM and the funeral mass to follow at 10:00 AM at Queen of Heaven Parish 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE Albuquerque NM 87110. Reception to immediately follow burial service at the Loyal Order of Moose (The Moose Lodge) 2121 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
