Lelland "Butch" Harris

Lelland “Butch” Harris, 56 of Albuquerque, NM, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2023. He was born August 9, 1966 in Chicago, IL to Parents Lee & Frances Harris. He is survived by his parents, Wife Clarissa, puppy Bugsy Lee, daughter Leeann, her mother Annette and their grandchild Johnnylee. Siblings Wendy, Tony, Randy, Crystal, Maria, & Fernando. Aunts, Uncles, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Dad George Salas.

Butch grew up in the South Valley where he made many friends and many memories. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious laugh. His funny stories had an everlasting impression, they were ones you couldn’t forget. He had a love for art and expressed it in his many tattoos that told the story of his life. He loved watching movies, documentaries, and listening to music. Van Halen was his favorite band. Amongst all hobbies, his most enjoyable was eating. He loved spending time with his family. One of his greatest joys in life was his granddaughter. He helped take care of her with great pride. He loved her immensely. Johnnylee was his pride and joy. Butch made an everlasting impression on each individual he met, especially with his beautiful blues eyes and overwhelming good looks. We give thanks to our Heavenly Father for his life and for the opportunity to have shared it. He will be greatly missed.

Paul bearers are Randy Harris, Brad Perea, Gilbert Gallegos, Charles Aragon, Marc Chavez, & Larry Moya. Honorary pall bearers are Tony Harris, Wendy Harris, & Maria Salas.

Services will be held Thursday March 23, 2023 at New Beginnings Church of God at 12:00 p.m. 4770 Montgomery Blvd. NE 87109. Reception to follow at the same location.
