Lawrence "Larry" Jaramillo - (October 26, 1943 – October 25, 2024)
Lawrence (Larry) Jaramillo, born October 26, 1943, in Corona, NM, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024, just one day shy of his 81 st birthday. Larry was the beloved son of Fredrico and Lilly Jaramillo (both deceased) and grew up surrounded by a large and close-knit family.
A talented plumber by trade, Larry founded and operated his own company, Alliance Plumbing, for 37 successful years, building a reputation for hard work, integrity, and commitment to his customers. As a respected Hispanic business leader and dedicated craftsman, Larry leaves behind a legacy that lives on in the countless lives he touched. He will be remembered for his warm sense of humor, his dedication to his work, and his unwavering love for his family.
Larry is survived by his devoted wife of over fifty-four years, Flora "Mae" Jaramillo, the love of his life, partner, and unwavering support. Together, they built a life rich in love and cherished memories. He is also survived by his two adult children: his daughter, Marisa Garcia, and her husband, Jonathan, along with their two sons, Julian and Jordan Till and his son, Julian Jaramillo, and his two children, Jaryd and Rozlynn Jaramillo.
Larry leaves behind a large, loving family, including his twelve siblings: Clara Dodd (deceased), Robert Jaramillo (deceased), Kathy Ware, Julia Tapia, Dorothy Percell, Jeannie Jaramillo, Irene Leyba, Amy Jaramillo, Michael Jaramillo, Jesse Jaramillo, and Lillian Buss. Known for his kindness, humor, and big-hearted nature, Larry was a guiding presence for his siblings, whom he helped raise and nurture.
Larry “Tata” cherished his family above all and took extraordinary joy in spending time with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. His family and friends will forever remember him as a loving husband, father, Tata, brother, uncle, and friend.
A Celebration of Life for Larry will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, located at 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124. The service will begin with a Rosary at 10:00 am, followed by a Mass at 10:30 am. A reception will take place immediately following the church services.
