Laura Emily Madrid

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laura Emily Madrid on October 25th, 2024 at the age of the age of 77. Laura was born on February 12th, 1947 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Lorencita and Florencio Madrid.

Laura was known for her amazing ability to create. Whether it was planning a wedding or taking photos, she was able to capture the life of others. As a devoted homemaker and mother she sacrificed so much for her family as well as others around her.

She was an amazing cook who put love into everything she made. She was a keeper of knowledge especially when it came to family. Laura was truly woman of strength and determination, her love and support of her family and friends was unending.

She is survived by her son Darren Lovato. Her grandchildren Jessica Lovato, Jennifer Lovato and Dj Lovato. As well as her sisters Sandi Madrid and Isabel Madrid. And her many other family members who all cherished her uniqueness.

It is a genuine tragedy and she will truly be forever missed.
