Kenneth Marshall Yaw – Ken, 70, died May 21,2024, at Sandoval Regional Hospital.
He was born August 23, 1953 in Ruislip, England, the son of Robert and Margaret Yaw.
Ken graduated from the University of Chicago Medical School. He was a flight surgeon in the U.S. Airforce and an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Raymond G, Murphy VA Medical Center. He loved working with the veterans. He cared deeply about his patients and fellow doctors. He spent the last 21 years with his soulmate, Rita. They raised 4 beautiful sons together. He was a wonderful partner and father.
Ken loved camping in the beautiful forests of New Mexico. He enjoyed playing the piano, contemporary architecture and action films. He believed in the Lord and was strong in his faith. He will be deeply missed.
