Juan Manuel Munoz Tena

Juan Manuel Munoz Tena, age 70, passed away in Albuquerque on August 16, 2023. He was born on June 8, 1953, in Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Felipe Tena Sosa and Teresa Munoz del Tena. Juan was preceded in death by his parents, a brother named Jose Luis Tena, a daughter named Anita, and a granddaughter named Victoria.

Juan is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Clara Tena. He is also survived by his brothers Humberto and Felipe Tena; his sisters Marura, Amalia, Lourdes, Sara, and Rosie; his sons Ruben and Gabriel Tena; his daughters Ernestine and Monica; his grandsons Isaiah, Aliaz, and Johnathan; his granddaughters Monique, Samantha, Alea, Leticia, Geneva, Brianna,andDestiney; his great-grandsons Antonioand Elijiah; and his great-granddaughters Victoria,Jasmine,Zoey Elizabeth,andAriel.

Juan will be remembered as a devoted husband who loved to dance with his wife and grandchildren. He had a special way of making his grandchildren smile. We will forever miss seeing him come home and visiting with him while he enjoyed the peacefulness of the backyard.

Public visitation will be held on Monday, August 28th , 2023 beginning at 8 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 562 Atrisco Dr SW in Albuquerque,NM87105.A Rosay will be prayed at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Liturgy. Burial will take place in Cubero,NM where Juan adored spending time amidst the beauty of hills and mountains.

Juan's memory will live on within the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
