Joey V. Baca

Joey V. Baca, aged 59, of Albuquerque, NM, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on September 23, 2023

 The sun rose on February 4^th, 1964, in Santa Rosa, NM, when Joey was born to the late Jose Baca and Sarah Baca. Joey is survived by his mother Sarah Baca, sisters Mary Lou and husband Augie Florez, Martha, and husband Ray Armijo. He leaves behind his significant other Carla Alderete, and two daughters Joyce Sanchez and Jessica Baca, four grandchildren, Shaundre, Shayla, Leon, and Amy. Many nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Baca, brothers, Charlie, Timmy, and Marvin.

Joey was self-taught man who could fix anything, he loved to be challenged. He loved to cook for his family, make his own colors with paint and entertain his friends. He always gave his time to help anyone in need by fixing cars and helping with yard work. He worked at the Octopus Car Wash, and the Comfort Inn Hotel and was a good handyman.

His favorite thing to do was work on his car and truck or anything he could get his hands on. He loved to laugh and tease his nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 10:30 AM at San Jose Parish located at 2401 Broadway SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102

He will be laid to rest at Pajarito Cemetery located at 5807 Coors Blvd SW
