Mr. Jesus G. Frias passed away on Tuesday October 10th of 2023 at the age of 84. Jesus was a Loving, Passionate, hard working and fun spirited man.
Jesus served his Country proudly in the Korean Conflict during the Vietnam era and retired from the United States Air Force as an E-6 TSgt. He retired as a Fuels Supervisor.
Jesus also, proudly served his local community and was one of the first Fire Fighters to also perform Paramedic services and retired from the Albuquerque Fire Department after 24 years of service in 1986.
As a hard working man that he was he continued onto a new career path after two successful careers and became a Truck Driver where he drove Long Haul and Local hauls in NM.
Jesus’s Final Career was the most successful, Longest and most cherished one that he just retired from and that was raising his Kids with Love.
Jesus loved his country, he loved the outdoors and the mountains but most of all he loved taking his family out to lunch or dinner just to spend quality time with them.
His legacy and memory will be carried on by his children -Richard Frias and Wife Lorena & their children Dante and Tessa;
Robert Frias and Wife Jessica. children Orlando, Devante, Dominic and Brian, grandchildren Lucy, Israel, Eleanor and Autumn. Frank Frias and Wife Kimberly & their children Eva Jean, Jessica, Hunter and Lexi, grandchildren Laila, Gregory, Adeline and Paesyn. Dan Frias his children Renee and Jacob & grandson Koda. Christoper Sedillo, wife Ondria, grandchildren Omeliah, Lenayah, Roslyn. Patrick Frias and Wife Valerie & their children Marcus, Depriese, Jaden and Janessa. Adam Vaughn and Wife Denine & their children Estevan and Jenika, grandson Ezra. Jeanette Frias and her children Alexandria and Anastasia Montoya. Grandchild Marisa Cruz-Vaughn.
Jesus is proceeded by his Father Francisco Frias, Mother Petra Grijalva, Sisters Lenore, Mary and Flora, Brother Joe and stepson Leroy Vaughn.
Services for Jesus will be at St. Annes Catholic Church in Albuquerque located at 1400 Arenal rd. 87105 on Wednesday October 25th with the rosary at 8:15am and mass at 9am. The Albuquerque Fire Department Retirees Association will be providing the honor guard detail as well as the Final Ring of the Bell. There will be a reception at the St. Annes church parish hall following the mass.
