Jeremy Keith Franks

Jeremy Keith Franks, 50, of Albuquerque, N.M. passed sadly, June 13th despite the best efforts and thoughtful care by Presbyterian hospital staff. He was born to Paula Taylor and Trentice Franks in 1972. He was forgiving, kind, a gifted artist, and a hilarious jokester.

He will never be forgotten by his true love Amanda Tidey, daughter Kylie Elizabeth—who stayed with him in his final days to comfort and ease him— and daughter little Maizie Mae who completely adored him. Jer felt so proud and lucky to get to know and love his stepchildren Nisreen, Nadine, and Kaje who will undoubtedly mourn his loss considerably.

Jeremy was survived by his mother Paula Taylor; sister Tajya Franks; niece Bri; and nephews Zaedyn, Leto, and "Rex.”

Jeremy was an inspiration and example for anyone who knew him. He was never ashamed to share his story of addiction and mental illness, and he was the first to extend a hand up (not out) to someone in recovery.

Now, Jer has finally found the peace he deserves.”
