Jane Marie Andrews

Jane Marie (Rule) Andrews, 86 of Hamilton, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday Nov. 16, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA and a graduate of West Philadelphia Catholic Girls High School and later graduated from Misericordia Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She married in 1960 and raised her family in Medford Lakes, NJ.

Jane’s passion in life was caring for others and loved being a nurse. In her 46-year nursing career she worked in various departments earning her credentials in both cardiac care and geriatric nursing. One of her favorite positions was working for Dr. Repici our family pediatrician. She retired from the VA Medical Center Nursing Home in Philadelphia after 14 years caring for veterans.

She was a devout catholic and in her later years she spent much time saying the rosary and praying for her family and friends. Jane always enjoyed traveling and in her last 2 years she enjoyed exploring the south west visiting historic churches. 

She is preceded in death by her mother Mary E. (McMenamin) Rule, her father, 2

brothers and former husband Robert E. Andrews Jr. Jane is survived by her four children, Jacqueline LaBaw, Robert E. III (Beth) Marc (Maureen,) and Jeanmarie Andrews; seven grandchildren, Ryan E. (Kathryn), and John G. LaBaw, Robert E. IV, Alec, Timothy F. (Aleta), Bryan M. and Maria A., and her one beloved great grandchild Issac F. Andrews. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday November 23rd, 2024 at 1:30pm at the

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 619 Copper Ave. NW Albuquerque, NM 87102. The mass will be live streamed on “Immaculate Conception Albuquerque” Facebook page and on YouTube at “Immaculate Conception Church ABQ”.
