Isaiah Peter Garcia (Zay), 32 of Arizona passed away peacefully at his home on December 21, 2023. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
In Isaiah's journey through life, he experienced both joy and sorrow. He was a resilient soul who faced adversity with unwavering strength. Isaiah was preceded in death by his beloved great-great-grandmother Margarita Cruz, great-grandparents Pete and Mary Valdez, Ralph and Faye Garcia, his cousin Carlos Vigil, his aunt Valerie Olguin Grondin, and his cousin Ralph Vigil.
Isaiah's warm spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He is survived by his loving mother Melanie Garcia (Arturo Suarez Saucedo) of Texas, and his adoring sons Zia and Zephrey Garcia of Arizona, who were the center of his world and the mother of his two sons, Kayla Reynolds. Isaiah also leaves behind his dear grandmother Vickie Valdez of Espanola, his grandfather Ron Garcia of Albuquerque, aunt Jennifer Orozco of Santa Fe, and first cousins Elijah Searles, Hannah Loyd, Amaya Archuleta, and Noah Orozco. His aunt Linda Martinez and family held a special place in Isaiah's heart. Additionally, he was blessed to have godparents Pete and Dorothy Valdez and their loving family by his side throughout his remarkable journey. Isaiah's love extended far beyond bloodlines as he leaves behind countless extended family members whose lives were touched by knowing him.
On January 5, 2024, a viewing will be held at Trujillo Family Funeral Home (110 Alvarado Dr SE, Albuquerque NM 87108) starting at 10AM with a Celebration of Life at 11AM. A reception will follow at Coors Showroom Event Hall (640 Coors Blvd. NW Ste. 12, Albuquerque NM 87121), providing an opportunity for family and friends to reminisce and honor Isaiah's vibrant life. Burial will take place at 3PM after the reception at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery (2957 Arenal Rd. SW, Albuquerque NM 87121), where Isaiah will find eternal peace.

Isaiah Peter Garcia touched the lives of many during his time on Earth. His spirit was contagious, his laughter infectious, and his love boundless. Those who were fortunate enough to share in his journey will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Serving as pallbearers are Elijah Searles, Daniel Barela, Dominic Zamora, Hadley Kaufman, Juan Rios, and Jeff Peralta. Honorary pallbearers Pete Valdez and John Colby stationed in Syria will stand alongside Isaiah one last time as he embarks on his final voyage.
