Isaac Bobby Atencio

Isaac B. Atencio Jr. “The B stands for Brilliant” as he would say, was born July 13, 1964 in Albuquerque, NM to Isaac Sr. and Eulemia Atencio. Ikey is survived by his daughters Sara and Jeremy Gonzales and Patricia and Jonathan Reed. His grandchildren Isiah, Alicia, Jojo, Joseph, Jakeem, Dominic, Genesis, and Giovanni. His great-grandchildren Isiah Jr, Royalty, Analaya, Elena, Enzo and baby Atencio on the way. His 5 brothers Lenard (Eileen), Lonnie (Judy), Andrew (Anna), David (Bobby), and Ronnie (Jessica) Atencio. Along with his many nieces and nephews. Isaac is preceded in death by his parents Isaac Sr. and Eulemia Atencio and his grandson Jonathan Reed.

Ikey was raised in Albuquerque’s North Valley and attended Cibola HS. Ikey had many friends and was well-known across the city, he shook many hands. His passion was operating heavy equipment but had many great skills in his lifetime. Ikey’s girls were always so proud to be known as his daughters. Ike loved his grandchildren dearly and was constantly checking in on them, he wanted to ensure they were staying on the right track. Ikey would say his biggest accomplishment in his life was his daughters, he was beyond proud of them. To all who have known Ikey knew he was a rolling stone and wherever he laid his head was his home, but now he is home with Jesus. Words will never be able to describe the great loss of Isaac B Atencio Jr. but his memory will be carried on through each of us. Dad, you are now free from the pains of this world, may you rest in heavenly peace with our Lord and Savior. See you when we get there.
