Ignacio “Huero” Trujillo

Ignacio “Huero” Trujillo, age 47, tragically passed away Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 at his beautiful home. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 31st at Trujillo Funeral Home. His final resting place will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Ignacio was born December 25th, 1974 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Gloria and Thomas Rubalcaba. While Ignacio was mostly raised in Albuquerque, at a young age he was also raised in Oklahoma and Texas. Everyone who knew Huero, knows he was an Albuquerque Duke! Ignacio was a loving and devoted father to his three daughters and son. He loved fishing, smoking, listening to music and having long thoughtful conversations…especially when doing those things with family and friends.

Ignacio is survived by parents Gloria and Thomas, three younger brothers, his godson Marcus, his treasured nephew Miguel and most of all, his 4 children that he would call his world. 

He was known to be a truly wonderful and generous man. Not only did he cherish the loved ones close to him, Ignacio always had a big heart and opened arms to those who needed it the most. Ignacio will be terribly missed by all who knew him. His memory will remain alive through all of his loved friends and family. Ignacio touched many lives that will never be forgotten. His family would like to thank all of you for all the donations, prayers and condolences everyone has made these past few weeks.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 beginning at 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
