Henry Robert Sanchez 79 of Albuquerque New Mexico passed away peacefully at his home October 4th bedside his devoted wife Angela of 44 years and daughter Noreen. Henry was born July 16th 1945 in Albuquerque where he attended Rio Grande High school and enlisted in the Marine Corp in 1964. Henry served in the Vietnam war from 1964-1968 as an ammunition specialist. Upon his return he attended St Josephs to study Carpentry. Henry loved being a carpenter and you could see it in everything he created. He took pride in his work, and being a Veteran made him so proud to be an American. He is survived by his wife Angela and daughters Doreen Cabrera, husband David Cabrera, Noreen Gurule and Peter Romero. Henry will be remembered for his amazing work and his giving heart. In his final days he battled the cancer with all his might and wanted to work so bad but was too weak. Henry was a fighter and a stubborn man. Once a Marine always a Marine.
The Rosary will be Friday October 25th at Holy Family (562 Atrisco Dr SW 87102) at 815 with the mass to follow. The celebration of Henry’s life will be following the services with an escort to The Post 69 (9000 4th St 87114).
